WHAT'S NEW AT STELLING?

Our extensive involvement with the Kalispell Bypass US 93 project has inspired us to expand our services to the Flathead Valley area. Our new office will allow us to better serve our Western Montana clients. Current and past projects in western Montana include preliminary and final design of the Kalispell Bypass, award-winning highway design in Polson at US 93 and MT 35, airport planning and design, wastewater collection and treatment planning and design, site development, and structural engineering.

The new Kalispell office is our most recent step to strengthen the firm’s commitment to our Western Montana clients, as well as to MDT during the design and construction of the Kalispell Bypass Highway project.

Russ Lay, PE
Russell Lay recently obtained his professional licensure in the State of Montana for the Principles and Practices of Engineering. Mr. Lay attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where he received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science Degrees in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on structural aspects. Russ has been employed with Stelling Engineers, Inc. since 2005.

Julie Troutt, PLS
Julie Troutt received her Professional Land Surveyor license in October, 2008. Ms. Troutt attended the University of Southern Colorado, where she received her Bachelor's of Science Degree in Civil Engineering Technology. She is a junior member of the Professional Land Surveyors of Colorado. Julie has been employed with Stelling Engineers, Inc. since 2007.

CONGRATULATIONS JEFF!

Jeff Walla, PE, has been promoted to Branch Manager of Stelling Engineers’ new office located in Kalispell. Jeff will support Stelling’s aviation planning and design services from the Kalispell office, as well as advance Stelling Engineers’ presence in Western Montana in water, wastewater, and site development.

Jeff has over 13 years experience in planning, designing, and construction of water, wastewater, drainage, and airport projects. He was the Project Engineer and Construction Manager for the Great Falls International Airport Storm Drain Improvement project. Jeff graduated from Montana State University in 1993, and has worked in the Great Falls area as a Civil Engineer since that time.
