| Stelling Engineers has an immediate opening for a Drafter/Designer in it’s Kalispell Branch Office location. Qualifications must include completion of a formal Drafting or engineering Program. Drafting experience is a plus, but it is not required. Duties will include work under the supervision of a Project Manager to prepare drawings, maps, plans, profiles, and details used in surveying, planning, design, and construction of projects using CADD software. Typical features may include detailed conceptual, schematic, and design drawings for civil projects including roads, culverts, bridges, airport runways, water supply systems, and sewage disposal systems.
Duties may also include field work with some travel to assist with topographic surveys and/or construction inspection.

We are looking for a highly motivated, team oriented, positive person with project management experience. The primary responsibilities of this position will include all aspects of managing civil aviation projects to include coordination with clients on their planning and engineering needs.
Duties will include supervision of designers and drafters, leading design efforts including developing detailed engineering plans and specifications, and administering FAA programs for all aspects of aviation projects. Must have understanding and working knowledge of FAA Advisory guidelines and requirements. Must have previous experience with General Aviation airports, Air Carrier airport experience a plus.
